Unlike traditional messaging organizers, SMS Sorter does not use any cloud servers, databases, or sync APIs in this version. Your message data is stored and processed locally on your physical device. We do not transmit your messages, contacts, or notification details to ourselves or any third parties.
All SMS classification, sorting, spam filtering, and reminder scheduling are executed entirely on-device. SMS Sorter has no cloud backend, does not transmit message data over the network, and contains zero user analytics or ad tracking SDKs.
To provide the application's core functionality, SMS Sorter requests access to specific data on your device. The table below outlines what we access and why:

Any device permissions granted are used solely to run the app's features:
Your incoming SMS texts are processed locally by an internal classification algorithm. The app categorizes them without sending the body text online.
Notifications are triggered on your phone to inform you of newly classified messages or upcoming task reminders.
The app schedules local alarms to alert you about bill payments, tasks, or follow-ups linked to your chats.
Deleted messages are stored locally in a temporary Trash directory for recovery before permanent deletion.
Your messages, reminder logs, and app settings are stored locally on your device in a secure private database (Room/SQLite framework). This directory is isolated by the Android OS sandboxing security model, meaning other apps cannot access this database without authorization.

SMS Sorter does not integrate with third-party advertising, analytics, or behavioral tracking SDKs (such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or Facebook SDK). We do not collect telemetry, crash reports, or device fingerprinting identifiers.
